Terms of sale

1. Seller
The website www.paul-ward.com is published by SAS PAUL WARD, a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of €20,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 811 343 904, EU VAT number FR54811343904, whose registered office is at 8 rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, 75004 Paris, France. 2. Scope
These terms of sale apply to all orders placed on www.paul-ward.com by individuals aged over 18 acting for non-professional purposes. The customer acknowledges having read and accepted them before confirming the order. PAUL WARD may amend them at any time; the applicable terms are those in force on the date of the order.
3. Products
The products offered are prescription glasses and sunglasses, with or without correction, and accessories, while stocks last. If a product is unavailable, PAUL WARD will inform the customer and offer a new delivery date or a refund of the sums paid within a maximum of 10 days.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes, for mainland France. Shipping costs are stated before the order is confirmed.
5. Ordering
An order is placed in five steps: choosing products and adding them to the cart, entering contact details and the delivery address, choosing the delivery and payment methods, confirming the order after accepting these terms, and receiving a confirmation email. The order becomes final only after full payment and confirmation that the products are available.
6. Payment
Payment is made online by bank card, PayPal or the other methods offered at checkout. Payment data is transmitted in encrypted form.
7. Delivery
In mainland France and Monaco, standard delivery is free on orders of €100 or more. Below that, it costs €6.50. Express delivery is available for €9.90. With standard delivery, orders normally arrive within 5 working days.
Deliveries outside France are made by UPS or FedEx depending on the destination, at the following rates: €9.99 for the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland; €19.99 for the United States and Canada; €29.99 for the rest of the world. The exact cost is shown before the order is confirmed. Any customs duties and taxes are payable by the customer.
8. Right of withdrawal and returns
In accordance with the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without giving any reason.
PAUL WARD also grants a return period of 30 days from delivery.
Returns are free for one frame per order. For each additional frame returned, a return fee of €5 is deducted from the refund. This fee is stated before the order is placed. Accessories (chains, cases, cloths) are not subject to this fee.
For logistical reasons, orders placed by the same customer within 48 hours are grouped and treated as a single order, including for the calculation of return fees.
Returns are accepted for orders delivered to France, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Monaco, the United States and Canada. Returns from other countries are not accepted.
The product must be unworn, unaltered and in perfect condition, with its case, accessories, instructions and original packaging. The refund is issued within 7 days of receiving and inspecting the product, to the payment method used for the order.
Returns are made in a single shipment per order: all frames to be returned must be sent back in the same parcel. An additional shipment is accepted only within the legal 14-day period, and its shipping costs are payable by the customer.
For orders delivered to France, Monaco and the European Union, standard shipping costs are refunded in the event of withdrawal within the legal 14-day period. For orders delivered outside the European Union, the original shipping costs are not refunded.
9. Exchanges
Exchanges are made in store only, at our Marais workshop, 8 rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, 75004 Paris. Exchanges by post are not accepted.
10. Personalised products
Glasses fitted with prescription lenses, and any product that has been personalised (custom tint, blue light filter, photochromic lenses), are made to order. They can be neither refunded nor exchanged, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code. Polarised lenses without correction are considered standard and can be returned under the conditions of Article 8. Gift cards can be neither refunded nor exchanged.
11. Legal guarantees
PAUL WARD is bound by the legal guarantee of conformity under Articles L217-4 to L217-14 of the French Consumer Code, for two years from delivery of the goods, and by the guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 to 1648 of the French Civil Code. After the 30-day return period, returns are accepted only in the event of a defect.
12. Personal data
The data collected is used to process orders. It is not used for any other purpose without the customer's consent. Customers may ask for their data to be changed or deleted at bonjour@paul-ward.com. Full details are given in the privacy policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law.
